Message from Mr Stear
Dear Parents/Carers,
Thank you all for the warm welcome I have received since joining this great community. I feel very at home already and have appreciated the time many of you have given to talk to me. I have thoroughly enjoyed visiting classrooms over the past two weeks to see how hard the children are working across the school. At this point, I'd like to take a moment to thank Miss Payne and one of our Governors, Natasha Fisher, who have been working tirelessly on our new website. It looks great and will be added to in the future.

We are very pleased with our new website and hope you agree that the fresh look is a great improvement.
We will be adding more content in the next few weeks so do take a look and revisit. If there is anything that would be really helpful for parents to have on the website that is not yet there, please let Mr Stear or Miss Payne know.
You can now report an absence directly through the website. Just use the Quick Links tab on the left of the screen and select 'Report an absence'. You can still report an absence by e-mail or leaving a message on the absence line if you prefer.
Haircuts
May we remind you that for school haircuts must be sensible. This means that no 'tramlines' or close shaved cuts are allowed. Long hair must be tied back using plain hair accessories in either purple, white, black or brown. Thank you.
Staffing News
On a slightly sad note, I would like to inform you that Mrs Twaite will be leaving us at the end of the academic year to take up a position at Selborne Primary School. This is a promotion for Mrs Twaite and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank her for her many years of service to William Cobbett Primary and wish her the very best in her new role.
