Why not William Cobbett! Becoming a part of this amazing school community is rewarding for children and families. Our Year 6 pupils achieved incredibly well in 2023, bucking the national trend and improving our results. Our specialist centre - The Woodlands - saw many of their Year 6 children taking their Key Stage 2 SATs tests in 2023 and performing in line or above their peers in at least one subject area, which we are incredibly proud of.

Our library is second to none, including regular author visits, a vast range of books to choose from across both the Infant and Junior sites and opportunities for our children to be librarians as they move into Year 6.

Our extra-curricular offer is a real strength of the school and there are multiple opportunities for children to take part in both sporting and other activities, including Magic Club, iRock, Choir, to name just a few.

Children selected to represent the school in sports events proudly wear our school kit and historically have performed well against other local schools in football, netball, cricket and cross country

We recognise and celebrate all our children's unique talents, both inside of school and outside of school, making it a vibrant and exciting place to be.

Our staff team are experienced, talented and always strive to go the extra mile for our children and families, showing love, care and support as and when it's needed.
