Why William Cobbett Primary School?
There is always something happening at William Cobbett. Our library is a real feature of school life, with plenty of opportunities for children to discover new books and develop a love of reading. We arrange regular author visits, have a vast range of books to choose from across both the Infant and Junior sites and offer opportunities for our children to be librarians as they move into Year 6. Alongside this, our wide range of extra-curricular activities gives pupils the chance to get involved in sport, music, creative activities, clubs and competitions.
We recognise and celebrate all our children's unique talents, both inside of school and outside of school, making it a vibrant and exciting place to be. From representing the school in sporting events to taking part in performances, clubs and enrichment activities, children have lots of opportunities to discover their interests, make friends and build confidence.
Our staff team are experienced, talented and always strive to go the extra mile for our children and families, showing love, care and support as and when it's needed.
At William Cobbett, we want children to have a great experience of school – to learn, achieve, get involved and make memories along the way.
Please do arrange to visit to get a feel of the atmosphere and see our brilliant children in action at work and play, as they 'Explore, Learn and Achieve'.
