Admissions and Transition

We admit 60 children each year in the September after their seventh birthday, , in addition to the 30 transitioning from our infants.

If you are considering William Cobbett Junior School for your child’s Year 3 start, applications must be submitted by 15th January 2026. You can apply either online or via a paper application through Surrey County Council. Or via Hampshire Local Authority ( depending on where you live ) All applications will be processed in line with Surrey’s coordinated admissions scheme.

If you miss the deadline, don’t worry, you can still apply by either contacting the school directly to make a late application or using the same link to apply via Surrey County Council: Surrey Admissions Information or Via Hampshire County Council. https://www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning/admissions
