We have our own kitchens and Surrey Commercial Services catering staff cook meals on the premises. The children have a choice of main course and sweet and the meals are generally acknowledged to be good. School meals for junior pupils must be paid for in advance preferably weekly on Monday mornings or half termly. May we encourage you to pay online using the following link - Tucasi Schools Cash Office (SCOPAY). You will need to create an account using the link code supplied by the school. The cost of school meals is currently £2.40 per day.
All infant pupils are entitled to universal free school meals.
Parents below a certain income level may be entitled to free school meals for their children. No distinction is made in school between children receiving free school meals and those who have paid. Please see below for the Eligibility and Application forms. Once completed this should be returned to Mrs Hutson or Mrs Stickland in the school office. The form is attached below.
If you wish your child to bring a packed lunch please provide a clearly named lunch box and an unbreakable container for drink.

Free School Meals Winter Food Voucher Scheme
The Government has announced a new winter support scheme, designed to directly help families and individuals who have been hit hardest by the pandemic. The majority of the funding is set aside to ensure children are fed over winter.
The grant has been provided to Surrey County Council to distribute to families who need it most. Surrey County Council, in discussion with schools and partners, has agreed to use the funding to provide all families with children eligible for benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM) with supermarket food vouchers over the Christmas holiday period.
The vouchers cover the period of two weeks from Monday 21st December 2020 – 4th January 2021 and will be £15 per week per child.
The vouchers provided can be used in Asda, Morrisons, Aldi, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Iceland, Waitrose or McColl’s and should only be used to buy food and other essential items.
To enable the vouchers to be sent out electronically, the Council has appointed a third-party provider, Wonde, to distribute the vouchers, and the school has been asked to provide your contact details so that vouchers can be sent to you by email by Wednesday 16th December 2020.
The school will provide the following information to the third-party provider: parent’s first and last names, email address, phone number and supermarket choice.
If you have changed your mobile phone number or email address please update your contact details by contacting the school office.
If your contact details are not correct, then the vouchers may not reach you in time for Christmas or an appropriate supermarket may be selected on your behalf. If you have not already done so, please return your signed data collection sheet to the office by Friday 11th December at the latest.
