William Cobbett Primary School

Homepage Welcome Message

William Cobbett County Primary School is a large primary set in the north of Farnham.

In September 2015 William Cobbett Junior school amalgamated with Weybourne Infant School to form the new primary school. The junior site is accessed by Weybourne Road and the Infant site is accessed by Knights Road.

There are approximately 520 children across the whole school. In the Infants we have four classes, one YR class and three mixed Y1/Y2 classes. In the juniors classes are organised within four single-age year groups and there are three parallel classes in each year group.

The classes are of mixed ability. The team of teachers working with a year group are led by a year leader. Within the school there is a Special Needs Unit (specialising in children with Autistic Spectrum disorders).

There are approximately twenty children in the Unit. Some, according to their disabilities, integrate with the rest of the school for some or all of their work. These children enrich the life of the school.

We are a happy school where we aim to ensure that every child can realise their full potential within a caring and purposeful atmosphere.
