Our curriculum is carefully designed to ensure that it is broad and balanced. It is based on the National Curriculum, which can be found here.
Our curriculum is enhanced by a range of visits and visitors.
Details regarding each area of the curriculum can be seen by using the links from this page.
Details of the curriculum for each year group can be found in the Year Group section of this website. There you will see a curriculum overview for the year, each half term in more detail and a mathematics curriculum overview.
Our Progression in Calculation guide, produced in collaboration with five local schools, can be found in the Policies section of the website (Our School).
Our curriculum is carefully planned and adapted where needed in order to make it accessible for those with disabilities or special educational needs, complying with the Equality Act 2010 and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Regulations 2014.
If you would like to find out more or have any queries about our curriculum please contact the headteacher (Mrs Pritchard) or Deputy Headteacher (Miss Payne).
Should the school need to close, either partially or fully, due to an outbreak of the Coronavirus, the school will once again provide remote learning for our pupils. You can read about how we plan to achieve this by looking at the Remote Learning Contingency Planning WCPS document below:
