September 2020 admissions

 All school place offers for the school year 2020/21 have now been made.

Should you have been unsuccessful in receiving an offer for our school you may wish to appeal. All parents have the right to appeal against any decision made by or on behalf of an admission authority as to the school your child attends under legislation produced by the Department for Education (DfE).

Surrey County Council is the admission authority for this school.  Please note that we do not manage our admissions directly, all admission applications are dealt with by Surrey County Council.

Determination of Surrey’s school admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools for September 2021

The admission arrangements for Surrey's community and voluntary controlled schools for 2021 admission and Surrey's primary and secondary coordinated schemes for 2021 have now been determined. Full details are available on the school admissions pages of Surrey County Council website under ‘Admission arrangements and outcomes’ -

As part of the determination the following changes have been applied:

  1. All community and voluntary controlled schools - priority for children of staff where the member of staff has been employed at the school for two or more years and/or the member of staff has been recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage
  2. Worplesdon Primary, Guildford: reduction of Reception PAN from 60 to 57  

Any person or body who considers that any aspect of these admission arrangements are unlawful or not in compliance with the School Admissions Code or relevant law relating to admissions, can make an objection to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator. Objections must be referred by 15 May 2020 and further information on how to make an objection can be obtained from the Office of the Schools Adjudicator website.
