Coronavirus (Covid-19) phased return for pupils

We have begun our phased return of more children, with children of key workers and vulnerable children, YR, Y1 and Y6 invited to return to school as set out in information shared with parents and carers.

A copy can be found in the parent and carer secure log in area of the website.

We will continue to support home learning for all pupils not yet returning to school.

Coronavirus (Covid-19) update 21.05.20

Our latest plans for the phased return of pupils are in the parent and carer area of the website. If you need a reminder of log in details, contact Miss Payne, deputy@william-cobbett.surrey.sch.uk.

We continue to provide care club places for children of key workers and for vulnerable children. If you think you qualify as  a key worker, let us know if you need a place in the care club. An application form is in the parent and carer secure area of the website.

The key worker list can be found here.

We have planned carefully for the phased return of pupils in Years R, 1 and 6.

The guidance for self-isolation in event of Covid-19 symptoms or exposure to these remains the same for any children attending school:

If your child is ill with a new, continuous cough and/or a high temperature, we ask that you follow the current government stay at home guidance:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/stay-at-home-guidance-for-people-with-confirmed-or-possible-coronavirus-covid-19-infection

We trust parents and carers to make the right decision for their own child and the health of others based on current guidelines.

If a child becomes ill at school with a new cough and/or temperature, you will be asked to collect them and to follow the current advice regarding staying at home.
